3241 - Globe control valve

The Type 3241 threaded seat globe valve is designed for general service applications up to the limits of the PN 40 pressure rating and up to the DN300 body size.

The Type 3241 has several standard options such as temperature extensions, metal bellows seals, heating jacket, high performance metal sealing trim, soft-sealing trim, noise attenuation and anti-cavitation trim sets. In addition to these options the valves can be specialized to meet exact process needs, such as a NACE version for sour gas service or oxygen, etc.

The Type 3241 can be assembled with a pneumatic, electric, hydraulic, or electro-hydraulic actuator also offered by the SAMSON Group to complete the construction of the control valve. These control valves are designed according to the modular assembly principle and can be equipped with SAMSON Group actuators and valve accessories such as positioners, limit switches, and solenoid valves.

• Nominal diameters: DN15 to DN300 (1/2" to 12")
• Pressure classes: PN16 to PN40 (Class 125 to 300)
• Materials: cast iron, Spheroidal graphite iron, cast steel, cast and forged stainless steel
• Temperature range: -196°C to 450°C (–321 to 842 °F)
