3730-6 SAFE - TROVIS SAFE electro-pneumatic positioner with HART® and pressure sensors

The Type 3730 electro-pneumatic positioner series is designed to work with general industrial applications. This positioner series includes several model versions to meet any end user or process requirements. The basic control positioners are the 3730-0 and 3730-1.

The TROVIS SAFE 3730-6 is an advanced version of the electro-pneumatic positioner with HART® communication and pressure sensors for on/off valves in safety-instrumented systems. It is a SIL-certified positioner for on/off valves, with HART® communication, on-site operation, local communication with SSP interface and EXPERTplus diagnostics, and pressure sensors to monitor the supply air and signal pressure.

The discrete analysis of the set point is performed in automatic mode. The positioner moves the valve to the operating point or fail-safe position depending on the adjustable limits. An automated partial stroke test is started when the set point is between the predefined upper and lower test limits.
